南韓代理國務總理職務的副總理兼企劃財政部長官崔炅煥昨天主持政府各部門中東呼吸症候群疫情防控會議時提出，需將MERS疫情級別從目前的「注意」上調到「嚴重」。

保健福祉部並說，有1名病患死亡，成為第7起死亡病例。







第7名死亡者為第47例的68歲女性確診患者，她患有心臟病，因呼吸困難而於5月27至28日住進首爾市三星首爾醫院急診室，被第14例確診患者所感染，在隔離治療中病情惡化而死亡。
